This incident was video recorded by Simon Lowe. 233 people where on board this jet bound for Lanzarote. The number 2 engine sucks in one bird (a crow or corvid) as the plane rotates off the runway. T.V. news reports of two herons being sucked in are wrong. Congratulations to the crew and air-traffic controllers for the calm and professional way they dealt with the situation. Using http://youtube.com/watch?v=67cLAOQA1BA for reference (sorry for poor quality!), compare terminals and other landmarks to see how quick the acceleration and how steep the takeoff were. Even with the displaced threshold, rotating at the piano keys is rare! United 757 to Denver.

July 1, 2002, Bashkirian Airlines Flight 2937, registration RA-85816, was a Tupolev 154M passenger jet en route from Moscow, Russia to Barcelona, Spain. DHL Flight 611, registration A9C-DHL, was a Boeing 757-200 cargo jet flying from Bergamo, Italy to Brussels, Belgium. The two aircraft collided in mid-air on at 21:35 (UTC) over Überlingen, Germany (near Lake Constance), killing all 71 aboard both aircraft. German investigators determined that the accident had been caused by problems within the air traffic control system[1]; and the controller who was on duty at the time, Peter Nielsen, was later stabbed to death by an architect who lost his wife and both of his children in the accident.

Landing at New Orleans airport on Continental Airlines Boeing 757-300. The river you see at the beginning is the Mississippi River. You will see some freeways over the wetlands. Nice to be the biggest plane in New Orleans!

United 757-200 lands in Dulles Airport IAD March 2007 SJU-IAD

as by request, the PSS 757 pro series, first choice, 200 model flying olbia - gatwick. Havent flown this aircraft a lot...

The PSS 757 is a very nice aircraft. It flies well and looks good. Unfortunately it is a bit hard on framerates so for this clip I had to stay away from complex sceneries. Still, a very enjoyable aircraft. (music and clip by Stefan Lorenz)
