Amy Hollyfield of ABC 7 (KGO San Francisco) reports on California's new hands-free cell phone law. Her report features an interview with the law's author, State Senator Joe Simitian.

State Senator Simitian and CHP Officer Tammy Du Temple discuss SB 1613, which requires drivers who choose to talk on a cellphone to use a hands-free device. Senator Simitian's bill went into effect July 1, 2008.
