Coldplay - Yellow Live in Sydney 2003
Posted by: Admin / Category: Videos
Coldplay - Yellow Live in Sydney 2003 Early performance without yellow balloon, but it's cant deny it as a great show. information on allmusic.com Live 2003 celebrates Coldplay's worldwide tour in support of their stunning second album, A Rush of Blood to the Head. The band impressed the masses this time out, and once again it delivers a resilient, bright package of glorious rock & roll. Capturing an evening at Sydney's Horden Pavillion, the momentum and passion behind such songs as "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face" and "Politik" confirm Coldplay's place in music while also illustrating their power as a live act. Live 2003 is clean-cut and solid from start to finish. The meticulous production of the dozen-song set list itself is exemplary of the band's first two efforts; therefore doing a live album such as this proves Coldplay's brilliance. From the sonic richness of B-side "One I Love" to the band's more merry singles like "Yellow" and "Clocks," Live 2003 is a delightful listening experience.

Yellow Sticky Notes

Now Playing in the YouTube Screening Room: http://youtube.com/ytscreeningroom Order a DVD at www.hapanimation.com After realizing that yellow sticky note "to do" lists were consuming his life, animation filmmaker Jeff Chiba Stearns decided to visually self-reflect on his filmmaking journey by animating on the same sticky notes that caused him to ignore major world events for the last nine years. Animation meditation is blended with image, text, and an original musical score by Genevieve Vincent through the creation of a classically animated experimental film that was drawn straight ahead with only a black ink pen on over 2300 yellow sticky notes.

Don't Eat The Yellow Snow - FRANK ZAPPA
Posted by: Admin / Category: Videos
This is a Flash animation I made (back in 2001) for the Frank Zappa song Don't Eat The Yellow Snow. *** NEW INFO *** Before anyone goes on about it being an edited version or complaining about my incorrect interpretation of the lyrics or nerds stating that penguins in fact do not live in the Arctic, pleeeease read the following... 1) Firstly, the audio used, was NOT edited by me. It's a 'single version' from Frank's Strictly Commercial CD. So if you're going to be disappointed at anyone, then it's Frank. He created a single version, not me. So drop it. 2) If I had used the original Don't Eat the Yellow Snow from Apostrophe as you insist I should have, then it only would've gone for 2 minutes. The 'single version' is a mixture of Don't Eat The Yellow Snow, Nanook Rubs It and a few seconds of St. Alfonzo's Pancake Breakfast. So drop it. 3) If you knew how long it takes to make an animated piece like this and considering it was my first real attempt at something this scale, you'd know why I chose the 'single version'. 3½ minutes is a lot to animate and even more so 7 years ago, when it was made. If I had to animate the 'full' version, then it probably never would have gotten made. 4) For those smarty pants that continue to enlighten us all on the fact that penguins don't live in the Arctic, then well done, aren't you clever. But the fact that the penguin is playing an electric guitar is fine. Drop it. 5) To all of you that have written positive feedback. Many thanks to you all. I made this for you guys. Here endth my rant...
