Marlon Brando, one of the greatest actors of the last half century, and some say THE greatest, portrayed Colonel Kurtz in Apocalypse Now. In the film, he is a highly decorated officer who went mad, killed many, and shacked up in Cambodia, miles from where the action was in Vietnam. Martin Sheen plays Capt.Willard who is sent to kill him. Sheen's trip up river to find him occupies most of the film. Brando is only in it for the last 45 mins or so. This is his final monologue in the film, describing "The Horror". Simply brilliant acting. His expressions are as sharp as can be. Allegedly, he was told he could improvise the description of the story he tells Willard of what he had seen at the camp they had to go for innoculation of children, so, thats pretty wild for him to make up what he did as he went along. Truly a great actor of our time.

A short scene with Will Smith from the fresh prince of bel-air ep 424. I think it is the best display of acting i have ever seen and it really moved me. In the story Will smith lives with his uncle and his family and then someday his bio father comes after 14 years. She and her husband were detained by police in St. Paul on Fri. 8/29/08 while attending an organizing meeting of activists protesting the RNC in the Twin Cities. They were not arrested, and eventually released. However, they returned home to find their garage and car had been burglarized. Nothing was taken, but documents and belongings had been searched. Interviewed at a gathering in Powderhorn Park on 8/30/08.

Take the surreal game between Duisburg and Cologne in early December 2005. Five minutes from time, with the game tied at one-all and the visitors from Cologne pressing for the winner, Albert Streit went to collect a ball that had gone into touch and passed Duisburg's coach Norbert Meier, standing at the sideline. Meier said something we can presume to have been unkind, as Streit stopped right in front of him for a repartee. That's when Meier, almost unperceptibly, quickly moved his head forward so that it gently touched Streit's, threw his arms in the air, flung himself to the ground with a jump that would have done any stuntman proud and lay there writhing in quite obviously unbearable pain. The ref came to the only conclusion his vantage point allowed him and sent Streit off for headbutting the opposing coach. But the TV cameras had captured the incident from an angle that left no doubt about what really happened, and Meier was quickly fired by his club.

As said above. I find this hilarious.
